LMS or LCMS?
The terms LMS (Learning Management System) and LCMS (Learning Content Management System) are terms that generate a lot of controversy. At certain extremes, some people (usually from a relatively closed academic elite) defend with body and soul a difference that we, from the MyClass Asia, consider invalid. And, according to the experts, an LCMS would be the same as an LMS but more focused on the tools for creating and reusing educational content, which are also included in MyClass. So ... why call it "LMS"? Simply because it is a simpler term and that we are committed to simplicity in all our communication efforts. That is why MyClass is recognized as the easiest e-learning platform to use. If you need any reference that we are not the only ones to think like this, why not check out the Wikipedia page on LCMS?
